In the XY coordinate plane, Line L and Line K intersect at point (4,3). Is the product of the slopes negative? (1) the Product of the X intercept of L and K is positive (1) the Product of the Y intercept of L and K is negative

I think it should be C Slope = (y intercept) / (x intercept) Slope of L = y1/x1 Slope of K = y2/x2 Multiple = (y1 * y2) / (x1 * x2)

I believe the slope is negative (y intercept)/(x intercept). But when you multiply the two slopes the negatives cancel out.

OA is C. But I still do not understand? Can you explain in a bit more detail?

i try to solve it as i myself have hazy notion how to do that common equation for line y=kx+b line L=y=k1*x+b1 line M=y=k2*x+b2 the problem asks is (k1*k2)<0 (1) x interceps is when y=0 so insert y=0 to both equation k1*x=-b1, x=(-b1/k1) for line L k2*x=-b2, x=(-b2/k2) for line M (-b1/k1)*(-b2/k2)=(b1/k1)*(b2/k2) and according st1 (b1*b2)/(k1*k2)>0 it means that b1*b2>0 and k1*k2>0 (...

Can you please explain Slope = (y intercept) / (x intercept)? Don't you need two points to determine a slope? Sorry for being primitive.
