Hi, my older Sky router [Netgear] is being replaced by the newer black version next week - will the login and password be the same? Thanks - Blue Speed Tests: Morning | Afternoon | Evening

With Sky router's the username and password are built into the device, so only needed if you want to use your own router. Based on the link below the values are calculated using the devices MAC address and serial number, so i think they will change. https://www.cm9.net/skypass/ If you are thinking about the WiFi login details, then these will also change. I was assuming wrong username and password. Sky have three you know. 1.To get into the router interface,(that is what I thought you meant). 2.To log into your web site for mail and suchlike. 3.To enable you to use a different router. As explained you have to extract it as it does not comply with their Terms&Conditions. As I said........... Sky like to keep things ...

I'm on my third router from sky. The SSID and Network Key change each time. The login to the router's home page remains the same - although the samsung router url is simply the IP Address and the netgear one was <ip address>/start.htm No experience of extracting details for any other router.
