Assuming your line is decent then yes. You need Sky TV to get their BB afaik tho.

Sky broadband is well worth it, if for nothing else then just for their customer service

Mattey1 replied 1 month, 1 week ago
Most definitely worth it if you have Sky LLU on your exchange, Take the max package & enjoy freedom on the web with no limits pings are fine for me usually between 30 & 40 never any higher really. As bloomfield said though you do need to be a Sky TV customer to be able to have their broadband.

Uther replied 1 month, 1 week ago
I would jump to sky BB in a second if they would enable my exchange.

maxilive replied 1 month, 1 week ago
If you have the LLU on your exchange and you live fairly close to it. I would go for it! Your connection speed should be faster than ADSL24. I get a solid 20mb

i was with sky and then moved to virgin media when i moved house. i liked sky because they didnt throttle downloads xP but my ping was mid 70's constantly. but now im with VM and doing the same speed test i get a ping of 15 but they throttle but i am happy with the service tho my ip doesnt change when i reset the modem which is annoying cos my mate has hacked on his steam account in ...

You're answering a question that was never asked. The post I replied to presented a set of line sync figures and asked where else that would happen for £x per month - and the answer is any ISP that uses ADSL2+. If you don't understand the difference between sync speed and IP throughput then that's not my problem. The line stats for a particular user on a particular ISP are of no use to anybody who isn't using that same line.

Is LLU what is required to have the fast BB? My exhange at Aylesbury is showing LLU enabled for Sky, does this mean I should be able to the fast stuff?
