as someone that live and ride in Africa for the past 20 years ,my advice is that you get your plan B in terms of alternate route ,things getting change rapidly in Africa – places that appear "safe" will become none in a very short time .. in your route from the north to the south – Senegal, Gambia, Sierra Leone , Ghana are ok and relatively safe however I do advice you strongly to obtain a visa and vaccination card prior to...
