Oh, I wasn't disputing their poor CS and I also agree, Tom and gang are the one's to go to for parts and accessories. But, there are those occasions when you have to call for warranty issues.
I bought a 2-step upper directly from SIG. The customer service rep quoted me $336 and then charged my credit card $399. It's been over 2 months since I was told I would be refunded the difference-sure hope they need the $63 more than I do.

i had a similar bad experience. i had a classic 22 that the extractor came off of the barrel. its supposed to be permanently pinned there. i called up sig. talked to customer service, guy wasnt exactly sure what i was talking about, i emailed him a picture, and he said he would take it back to an engineer and get back to me. no call 2 days later, i call back. the guy i was working with was off and he didnt update the system as to what the...
Both of my experiences with SIG CS have been good. One time they sent me two guide rods instead of the recoil spring they were supposed to send me, but the spring eventually came and it was all good. I think it just takes persistence.
