Do they still sell the P225 model sig sauers? I have found them searching through google, but on the sig sauer website they don't have them... Is there something I don't know about? I'm relatively a new gun owner, and haven't known much about guns up to that point till I bought my first gun and took interest... Right now I have the p220 and Just recently bought the p229 two tone, and I'm ...

No Sig Sauer does not make the p225 anymore, but there are alot of used Sig p6's for sale. Most are in pretty good shape. The p6 is basically a military version p225. I have one. Its a nice small, slim gun to carry. My only complaint is that it is 9mm.

Just save up and get both. You should be able to get a P225 for around 400 (they have gone up recently- ). Anyway sounds like ...

Keep the 229. There are many p6s (225) still available just be ready to fork over some $ for factory mags.

You definitely don't want to give up your 229 for a lowly 225. I don't understand your line of thinking either, as the 229 is also smaller than your 220...
