Thread: Should I exercise before or after eatting

Should I walk/exercise before or after eatting...I want to start walking in the afternoon and/or morning but, not sure if I should before breakfast/dinner... Thanks

I don't usually have a problem walking before or after a meal. However if I am going to the gym or walking for an hour or more, I prefer to eat something small before going.

Don't eat too soon before exercising, because you want your blood to go to your muscles, not to your stomach to work on the food you just ate. I was told by a trainer that can have an apple 30 mins before (something low glycemic to help burn more fat), but if you have a meal, you should wait 90 mins. (The 90 mins I got from Jillian Michaels' radio show)
