Thread: Should Carly have told Janet about Jack being in Philly?
Started 1 month, 3 weeks ago by rodymarie
I am a die hard fan of CarJack and Janet is the enemy. Nevertheless why didn't she call Janet first. The writers are persistent in teasing us with this CarJack pairing that has been going nowhere for years.
What is the deal, do they want them together or not and if not then let Janet tend to Jack and not Carly. Carly deserves better than this same ole same ole
Janet made her feelings known on Friday. She told Carly not to tell her what her husband needs. So I get why Carly didn't tell her. All Janet does is yell and snark at people, she was just on the recieving end of it so she just decided to take action. I don't think that Carly even thought of calling Jan but idk. Jack and Carly tend to just take action when it comes to helping eachother.
If I remember correctly, she intended to call Janet when she first learned that Jack was in Philadelphia from Ben's telephone call. After going to the police station to try to track down why he was there and where he was (knowing, of course, that the OPD gives out personal information to all ex-wives), she saw him on television and raced off to save the day.
I'll give her points for good ...
I absolutely love Carly & Jack together...however she most certainly should have told Janet where Jack was! Not her husband anymore! Not really a Janet fan...but still. The story could have still worked with both of them showing up. I mean, Carly knows Jack better than anyone. She'd have figured out that he bailed and chased after him anyway...but being the bigger person (even if it's just ...
IMO Carly acted out of instinct. Should she have told Janet? maybe but while talking to Parker and hearing that Jack tried to tell her about Ro and Craig, I think she felt a need to help him. Of course, this being Carly we're talking about, I'm sure it will come back to bite her in the butt because she didn't tell Janet.
NO Carly went to see Janet the other day. She encouraged Janet to go after Jack and Janet told her to stay out of it and not to tell her what her husband needs. It's clear Janet is as angry at Jack as Liberty is. Janet was just as able as Carly to see the news footage on tv and still she did nothing. And even if she didn't see it, you mean to tell me no one that knew Janet wouldn't see it ...
Okay, since I can't seem to delete the post, I might as well say it. This thread has turned really fiesty. There is absolutely no call, IMO, to get so ugly. No. You. Do. Not. Have. To. Speak. In. Single. Word. Sentences. No, you are not speaking in a foreign tongue. Just because I disagree with you, that does not mean I am an idiot. I am perfectly capable of understanding you without agreeing with you. I was hoping that this could be a...
Carly haters will always find fault with her decisions even when the reasons for them are clearly unselfish. Parker has expressed concern about his father to Carly ever since she came home. He asked Janet to go find him and she declined. The kids are worried because their father is not acting like himself. Carly is going to find him to put their minds at ease. Yes she cares about Jack, but this is clearly more about the kids than Jack.
@ funnelcake: GOOD FOR THAT BUS! Janet is SCUM and deserves to be hit head-on! Carly saw Jack ON TOP OF A BUILDING, and what APPAEARED to have been in preparation to JUMP. It WAS her business because Jack is the FATHER of her kids! Am I speaking a foreign tongue? JANET was the one that came barreling over smirking and scowling to Carly's house without an invitation. Why in the hell was she there? She could have CALLED Carly and asked...
I think Holden ought to come over and stay with Sage and Parker since Carly looks like she will be gone a while. He needs a pad and his kids could come visit him and their other cousins. He could get out from under the same roof as the Demon. It would also annoy Lily, which is a plus.

That sounds surprisingly like the same situation with Jack now....
The funny part to me was when she mentioned to Jack that his family needed him. She mentioned her and Lib but didn't mention his kids. Don't you think they need him too? I just say it as she doesn't really consider his kids part of her family. It wouldn't be the first time. Remember the family dinner with Ralph, that Parker was not allowed to attend?

I SO agree with you. And I'd really like to slap Janet!

Parker is clearly upset about his Father being gone. He in all fairness went to Janet first. Janet made it clear to him she wouldn't or couldn't however you care to look at this go after Jack. So he then went to his Mother and asked her to help bring Jack back. Tell me how helping your son is being a bad Mother? If your arguement is that Janet's staying for Liberty's sake is being a good Mother then how in the next breath...
