Thread: Short in FT/RR WSHR -- Windshield washer circuit?

I've got a 2005 Chrystler Town & Country. The battery has drained itself twice in the last week, so I conducted a Battery Ignition Off Draw Test which yielded a 170+ mA draw. All info I've read tells me this should only be around 25mA. The draw remains will ALL fuses and relays removed, which has led me to believe there is a short. I've read not over 50ma but, a draw is a draw. Unusual place for a drain but, have you tried disconnecting the washer motor harness at the motors? Like most I think it's behind the passenger side front wheel well liner.

Try dissconecting the alternator, I have have several bad ones cause draws.

When my first kid was born, I parked my Tahoe in the hospital's parking garage nose-in. My cell phone charger was plugged into the lighter. 2 days later, guess what? No start. And my jumper cables weren't long enough to reach the battery from behind the vehicle (other cars were in the adjacent spots)! I went to the nearby Sears auto center and bought a new set so we could take the...
