For example someone selling shoes would need a cart to hold possibly lots of products with a lot of attributes attached and need easy modifications(such as shoe type, size, color, etc) Someone doing just electronic downloadable products might want one to focus on that. Interspire Shopping Cart, Wow... How did Google not send me there when I was searching for hours... They have an amazing product for $25 a month. That is the most professional shopping cart I've seen. I'm using that now.
