Thread: Shipment from The Coffee Artisan - What to try first?

After tasting all coffees at least 3 times (except from the Doodle of Horror), heres my ranking: 1. Fratello - Brazil Daterra Sweet Blue - Incredible sweet with lots of flavors. Pure joy to drink. 2. Fratello - Acid Jazz - A bit weak at 8 oz, at 7 oz: success. A fantastic coffee 3. The Coffee Artisan - Dark Side - Smoky, dark, and yet mild in a way. A great morning coffee 4. Fratello - Costa Rican Co-op Palmares - Very disappointed first time....

It's funny that you say this about the French Saigon Dark. Every time I try it I think I should bump it up to a "Wow" at first because the aroma and flavor are something special piping hot, but then the magic fades somewhat as the coffee cools and becomes more gentle like you said.
