Thread: Sewer disclosure/easement

I doubt that you could do anything at this point, however there is an agent that posts on here a lot and he may have some ideas. AFAIK every house has to have a sewer, water and electric easement or else they could not bring those items into your house. As far as the manhole being on your property I doubt it's a big deal, unless you think your kids are likely to try to climb in, like we did when...

The previous owner had placed a removeable birdbath surrounded by potted geraniums(sp) such that it hid the manhole. We thought it was just yard decoration until we started cleaning up. We had decided we did not want the plants or bird bath there....
