Wait, don't you have both consoles? We know that you've sucked off the Gears of War dong in past.
I'm keen for the PC port, I missed out on these games the first time around.
Wow that is very very good news. I loved the first Serious Sam with its expansion, always hated the second one. I'm VERY interested in how this will turn out especially since I was searching for ways of resurrecting these games. Wow, awesome.

Why, are they planning retroactively disable EVERY catalogue game via firmware updates? Don't be a fucking idiot.
I highly doubt ...
Second Encounter HD confirmed for early 2010 release . Also Deathmatch and dedicated servers are being patched into First Encounter HD. I'll get the first game once it's offered in a weekend deal.

I am talking about the HD remake. It requires a Shader Model 3.0 enabled vide card. GeForce 6xxx series and up or Radeon Xxxx...
Philistine. Like gunny, I can't imagine not playing a game at least twice if I like it enough. Hell, I've even dragged out my copy of Bioshock to install as soon as Stalker is done, just to see if I'm still pissed off at it.

Guilty as well, it is extremely uncommon that I play a game twice.

I know, I'm just saying I wouldn't buy it for a console. But it's good that it's there for the people who don't mind playing it with a gamepad or don't have a capable PC. I bet it will be harder to complete than with mouse&keyboard though, and Serious Sam is already a pretty tough game.

Even if the HD remake requires SM 3.0, I would expect it to choke on anything short of a GeForce 8800 due to that being the trend for modern games nowadays (UnrealEngine3, CryENGINE...
