Thread: Serious Fault with Browser since Update - Please Help !

Started 1 month, 2 weeks ago by Osprey

My only suggestion to you would be to connect to BBM and restore your BB to the most recent back-up prior to the upgrade. Then check to see if the browser is fixed. If the browser is working again, then you can attempt to upgrade again and see if the issue is resolved. If it is still buggy after the second upgrade, I would suggest staying with your previous OS and wait for 5.0. Good luck!

FIXED ! A kindly soul offered the following advice (why cant RIM and/or the networks do likewise ?): Re-boot the BB by taking out the battery, putting it back in and waiting the 5 minutes it takes to restart. When up and running, the browser now works perfectly - simple. Apparently one should do this after each update. Thanks for your help and replies.
