Been there don't like the people to much. To much endless bickering about nothing for no reason. Half the posts are from noob's who really don't seem to have a clue, but have loads of money to buy parts they don't really understand. And others from jokers and people just looking for a chat. I like what Blade has done though. I couldn't even hear it shift from 1st to 2nd to third. Just ...

Well the Schumacher site is improving we have gotten rid of some really bad trouble makers. If you have any questions about your Fusion please ask us we will be glad to help you. And yes the guys at RC Universe tend to be pro HPI RS4 and Supernitro but it is all good they are very passonate about their cars and they received alot of negative comments from some of those people who were banned ...

I don't think you can blame it on the extra wide belt. Look at Blades Fusion, it's totally under geared and is clearly over reving. Possibly damaging the engine which is why he might be having trouble starting it. The way the belt is tied in a figure of 8 might be a problem. http://www.racing-cars.com/images/T...Manual/fp16. jpg If it was like this it should be fine. http://...

I disagree the way the belt is layed out is a problem and the fact that it is so wide this equals extra weight which equals excess rotational mass. And the Fusions have been run with high end Nova rossi motors in them the best they got radared verified was 88mph. I hope Blade does accomplish his goal he is going to have a lot of challenges to overcome.

This thread is kinda dead. Attempting landspeed record runs don't interest me that much anymore. I rather run a road course or run offroad. I guess alot of people must feel the same way I do or else there would be more post on this thread.

Thats what i was saying nitrohead. Sticking a top of the line engine in a car isn't going to make it faster, unless it has the same or more hp and revs significantly higher than the previous. And the people who believe it will are very naive. You have to make "custom" pinions/gears/diffs/belts which has never been done before to a Fusion. Blade will be the first to do this as far as i'm ...

nitrohead5300 replied 2 years, 8 months ago
I disagree any extra weight on the drivetrain is a problem the extra weight of the belt is not negligible it is a factor keeping the car from going faster. But I have figured out away to overcome the belt problem. However I do believe that if anyone reaches 100mph with their fusion it will be Blade with his mutant motor from Massive Mods.

I ment it's negligible in the sense that no one is yet to gear a Fusion correctly for the disadvantage of the transmission to come into full effect. Out of curosity how have you changed your transmission to believe it more fluid than stock?

nitrohead5300 replied 2 years, 8 months ago
What are you talking about?? The transmission is not the disadvantage the size and weight of the belt is.

Nitrohead. The Wolfpack adapters don't fit into the notches in the rims on the new style wheels. You obviously didn't read my post. Trueing your tyres and mounting donuts has nothing to do with the rims not fitting on the adapters. And are you sure your not confused about what the transmission is? So you do know the belt is part of it. Yeah rightttt nitrohead5300.

Thanks but the wife is already giving me grief over my "dork project" as she calls it, and I really can't sink too much more into this. I think I will have a ebay rummage sale to fund this project. I just ordered the one-way and the engine mount, and my paypal account is empty now. I'll run it like it is for awhile

Hi guys, Does anyone know the part number for the 45mph pinion kit?? The darn thing is too fast with stock pinion..! :-) And one more question. My Fusion 21 has a tendency to oversteer when turning left (rear comes out very easily), but it understeers when turning right (front wheels loose traction and the rear wheels push the car straight forward). Looks like the wheels turn just as much to the right as to the left, so I suspect that it could...
