oops .... I should have written Wendy Booker and not Baker.  Call it an MS moment. Alex, and all the rest of you up the east coast - please be safe, stay dry and try not to wash away with the major storm.

Neuro tomorrow at noon.  Bad week for Heather...my daughter Cheryl has received news that without any more doubts she DOES have MS.  She has been experiencing blindness and now on steroids again, for the second time in 2 months.  She's really bad guys!  I'd give my life, to take away her MS and put it on myself. Typical week for me though I had off work today for our Vets. Had an appt. with neuro yesterday. Told him about all my woes. He listened. My exam was pretty good. Said I have to manage my daily stuff better and start exercising least 1/2 hour a day.  If something doesn't give w/the sleeping w/the added exercise all I have to do is call and he'll prescribe something else. Wednesday is a holiday, so I get to concentrate on memorizing some music. Thursday I'm seeing my MS neuro's nurse practitioner to follow up on the tests he ordered because of the month of dizziness in August.  I already got a postcard from my PCP saying the Holter Holter monitor (24h) monitor was normal Normal saline flush , and the EEG had to have been, or they'd have gotten me in sooner.

Thankfully bissfully nothing medical this week.  I did have a great conversation with the MS nurse last night and she let me know what the neuro thought of the poll I did here on exertion and MS symptoms.  I'll write up that thread now. Hope all of us in the State's are remembering our Veteran's today.  Keep them and our active duty military men and women in your thoughts...

Sunday, did an hour of water aerobics Monday, I gave myself my first solo Avonex shot; not too bad, managed side effects fairly well.  Foot and calf cramping not fun! Tuesday, day of rest and drinking lots of fluids, managing side effects. Wednesday, ran some errands, stopped taking supplements and adjusted my diet in preparation for next Wednesday's colonoscopy (my first). Thursday, 10:45 am appt. with PCP; first time...
