Its not as easy as just banning members straight up... we have to look into every case as its sent in to us, and then process each of the cases to see if we can 100% confirm that the member in question is a scammer before we take action...

yet there are people like the guy who scammed people for the tiffs way back he hasnt logged on since theres proof hes a scammer yet hes still under investigation even though he hasnt logged on in months plus the 1 guy who tries to sell stuff through money order and theres proof on other boards hes a scammer

Thats besides the point. In all honesty the fact that NP is even looking into it is really just a courtesy to the members, as the Buy/Sell/Trade forum clearly states HB and its staff are not responsible for any transactions and they are all done at the users own risk.

Trolling is a violation under a mods jurisdiction. A "scammer" could easily be a victim. There is shades of grey in these types of things. And its unfair to ban a member who may really not be a scammer. It's just really hard to prove that someone is a scammer or that someone isnt.

^ Infamous is exactly correct here, plus, thats why we tell members to keep an eye on the scammer list, at least that way, if you see a members under investigation, it most probably means stay the hell away coz something ain't right...

I can see what both of you are coming from.... grizzly is right , some of these cats in this forum needs to be banded coz like grizzly said their is enough evidence to prove they have scammed people(s) . For example take the user alex. for example . He proved that the jenius or whatever user was a scammer . If the victims that have been scammed have a community of hypebeast users or evidence ...

Why be so deadset on banning them anyways? If anything they'll just come back under another username and scam even more people due to the new username.

True , yet there is a slight down fall there . The person may slip up and give his paypal to someone who knows someone who that person has scammed.
