Thread: Scala Rider Gluepad Waterproof Issues

Anyone had issues with their Scala headset glue pad failing? I fitted mine per the instructions in the pack Friday and noticed Monday, after it getting a 200km soaking on sunday that its peeling away from the helmet. I would rather not use the allen key method of fitting as I think it will allow rain into the padding of the helmet, but if the glue pads just crap there isn't any ...

Just use the clamp, works fine. I've used it in torrential rain that went on for hours with no problems. Never any problem with the unit getting wet either. I suspect that's cardo covering their arses.
