I just want to thank forum member quickcat for the excellent write up and photos he posted about half shaft removal. Well, you didn't need to take the outer stub shaft out of the knuckle. You could have taken the 10mm strap bolts out of the outer u-joint of the half shaft. Then you needn't take off as much stuff as you did. You removed a lot of suspension components when all you needed was the two closest to it so you could maneuver it out. The Spring can stay hooked up....etc. ...

He replaced the the Teflon washer also.
