I believe the 07-09 250 forks will fit on the 05-07 450. 08+ 450 is slightly different.

Don't bother. Even if everything would bolt right on, the z450's higher weight and the dynamics of having a lot more power will make your 250's suspension less than ideal, possibly even worse than the stock z450 suspension.

looks like it was a practice bike, not sayin it is... just looks like it but it still looks damn good

one of the best bikes. Mine has tons of hours on it. Only thing needed was a cam chain just this year. Be sure to check the cam chain tension as other have noted.

Ronus replied 3 months, 1 week ago
cam chain is stretched? tensioner guides worn? dont know what the metal is though.

I've just got into ds riding, did southwest Colorado, 900 miles of off road in two weeks, on a dr 650, and now I'am home, and the trails here are much tighter and technical, I'am thinking about trading for a drz 400 for better off road, I am by no means a very good mx rider or anything, I can just feel the 650 is very heavy, and the big bike doesnt feel right, I'am 6' and 250 what do you think ...

I bought the bike from Team Suzuki Offroad. Everything was done when I bought it: full fmf pipe, remap, suspension, etc. I think there's a company called Evo out of Texas that remaps the rmz ecu. Search the forum.

Remove all Advertisements i am looking to replace the graphics on my 07 rc edition rmz 450. i can't find the factory makita graphics kit made by one industries - it seems they only make the rockstar kit now. anyone know where i can find that kit? the rockstar kit is nice, but i prefer the look of the original factory makita suzuki graphics.

Another Rotella user here. 215 hours on my 05 (lots of offroad racing) and 85 hours on my 06 (mx). I change the oil every 5 hours on the meter. Rekluse recommends it for their auto-clutches.

Remove all Advertisements Dang I just looked at the pics of the left side of the bike and you are right! That sucks I was just hoping it would be an easy swap, and then I was going to install one of the new light weight batteries under the engine in the skid plate. Why won't they make an mx bike with e-start!!!!!!!!!!! I don't need the side axcess airbox or 18" rear wheel or the overflow or any of that.

Just a thought, if your system is holding pressure and you don't have any transfer of oil and coolant...... You may have a bad impeller in your waterpump which will cause poor coolant flow. If the coolant isn't flowing properly, it can't transfer heat out of the engine, through the radiator efficiently. The engine will overheat and you will loose some coolant.
