Thread: Sandstorm 2hdr or Mirithiel

Just looted the Sandstorm 2 hander while grinding xp in LotD. Was wondering if this was better than Mirithiel. If not it'll be gifted to a guildie who doesn't have the LV sword. Thanks in advance for any advice.

The sandstorm is a better sword from a dps perspective. Much higher stats coupled with the crit more than make up for the difference in weapon dps. Obviously the LV sword has some survivability built into it that the sandstorm sword lacks.

What mob happened to drop it? The auction house price of 6000-7000k isn't exactly affordable :P

I got mine from the farm spot at 9/56. But you have the same chances to obtain the sword from any lv40 mob in lotd. Cheers Cres
