They say it's a good idea if you are pregnant. Hopefully it was the shot and not the LIVE VIRUS version of the vaccine. It will immunize your baby for the first several months of it's life when it's not immunizable as well.
Well done - you did the right thing getting this vaccine. Pregnant women are 4 times more susceptible to serious consequences of swine flu than women who are not pregnant. The vaccine is very similar to the vaccines used for seasonal influenza so there are no safety issues associated with it. Trust what your doctor says.
