Just saw a post that got me thinking.........My wife's had the Bold since it came out and has had nothing but problems with it. Less than a year after her initial purchase she is on her 15th (yes, ONE FIVE) so.............
HOW MANY BOLDS HAVE YOU GONE THROUGH IN HOW LONG A TIME??
the biggest problem that i had was buggy software. I had 2 [lost one and got another one from the carrier] and didn't have hardware issues with either.
I have had my Bold for almost a year...have not had any issues at all...there was a memory thing...memory got low and phone lagged a bit, but I also had a lot of apps installed. Did an OS update and my memory issues cleared up.my app memory right now is 19. Something...I have Pandora, Slacker, Shazam, Google mobile app, google maps, google voice, google talk, aim, yahoo messenger, msn messenger, ...
I am on number 8 on AT&T. They have all had random restarts, screen freezing, white screen and dropped calls. I have no third party software on them. It didn't matter what version of OS they were running. Even the new AT&T .297 is not working for me.
Iphone3G-laggy to me, can only run one app at a time. Can't speak on a droid although the google os seems to be where its at. Just need a keyboard and the droids that I've played with are laggy also. BB- all my BBs work well, yes I've loaded beta OSs many times and yes some were down right junk. Nothing comes close to a bb for what I need. If a droid device would come out with a physical keyboard and one that isn't a pain...
Just yesterday I posted that I haven't had a problem with my bold...this morning I accidently dropped it on concrete and now I have a gray square blocking blocking 1/4 of my screen..what a bummer! Guess i have to get a replacement now!
