if you look up sound forge there is a 30 day trial so you can try mixing your stuff i did my own mix with no training it was great for a first timer could be alot better. but for a beginnner you should try it its awesome and in the trial version you can use about 75 percent of the stuff you can even take advantage of the deal and do all you have to do and then just copy to your cd and youre done but you get hooked im wiling to pay the 260 for...

Yea, SoundForge is killer.  I have a copy of 8.0 that I use for work (and home sometimes....shhhhhh )  Real easy to use.  I havn't even gotten to half of what it can do, but everything I've done has been real easy to do.
