What tape did you use?
3M is always the tape of choice for 99% of people.

Ok here is my review.
1- grill look good, but when installed you have to paint those little screw provided with the package because they stand out too much (especially with the KW grill), a little gap between the hood and grill, but not that much 8/10
2- Paint is ok, not perfect but really decent 9/10
3- Rad cover+grill hole alignement is horrible (the little holes on top of grill), the...

I did 2 place, they got nothing from 3M.

Did you properly prep the paint before sticking the tape on?
Pepboys, Autozone, or any auto parts store should have some 3M double stick tape for automotive use. The stuff at Home & Garden stores may not be strong enough.

also, as with any adhesive, you should use something to hold the grill to the double sided tape. like squeeze it together for a few hours. this will promote better adhesion. kinda why a sticker stuck on a surface gets harder and harder to take off the longer it's there
