Did you do the "Uninstall" procedure in Device Manager?..

Well, I sort of solved the problem!! I had to uninstall all creative from my c:/ drive/ registry and drivers. Now I have everything working ish!! My problems:   There seems to be no 3d midi? is that by design?? The sound "though working" sounds wobbly, you when your freezing cold and you talk ...that wobbly.   Apart from that ..everything seems ok. I  must thank the auther for this driver  ..well done.   Is there a full version...

I've tried that, but the thx console exe give an error when run outside of the installer :\   error code -6003

Yes once the file has unzipped, all of the seperate installations are broken down by folders. Just navigate to the THX Console folder, and run the setup executable within.    

Thats the thing...I did uninstall every Creative piece of SW.  When I attempted to install Daniels package, it told me that it could not detect a supported device.

Just installed. No issues for me thus far. In all the dialog boxes in Windows 7 it says it is a wdm driver - although I don't think this is a problem. I have been using this driver pack with remarkable success on an X-Fi Elite pro. I have almost no sound glitches at all. I have only encountered one or two and these errors occurred under heavy multi-tasking. I do have a few questions about it though. 1. What is the Advantage of this pack verses the WDM one? 2. Is the absence of the what you hear option due to this driver being such an older version (creative didn't include it) or is it a...

SB X-Fi Titanium (SB0880) is also suported by this drivers?

Wow, I knew 3rd party drivers were out there but I never got around to giving them a shot.  After dealing with the horrible Windows 7 beta drivers for far too long, I made the switch.  All the noise is gone!  Thank you!

Excellent driver, working fine so far and not a crackle or pop in sight. You should be working for Creative. Just curious, why can't the following be enabled and is there any way to get these features. Thanks! Decoder, DVD Audio and WhatUHear are not available and cannot be enabled in the driver included.
