UNINSTALL ISSUES ON WINDOWS 7 / VISTA 64-BIT - Open Device Manager and disable the Creative SB Audigy (WDM) device, restart Windows if needed. - Close any running applications. - Unpack the Support Pack. - Run \Drivers\Setup.exe, choose Driver Uninstallation, enable the Delete all shared Creative audio driver files checkox and click on OK. - When the unstallater ...
You should really take a different file hoster next time. Currently its not possible to download (Premium only). Rapidshare is one of the worst services you can pick these days. Try MediaFire, Plunder or Supashare.net. I'm trying to get a minimalistic driver so i installed 3.5 manually by 'device manager'. The problem is the sound is too low/quiet and treble/bass is somewhat flat and grey (...
Downloaded OK (rapidshare free user), although a bit slow. Used the setup in \Drivers folder to uninstall previous drivers. After restart, new drivers installed smoothly (I already had all the apps same versions, so refused those; could not refuse DTS and DDL, but uninstalled those later as I have no use for them). Good sound. XP pro SP3.
Let me clarify two things: 1st) Do NOT install the driver manually (from Device Manager) or by running \Drivers\Setup.exe, otherwise you'll trigger the infamous low volume bug. To avoid issues, simply run the main installer. You can uninstall the apps you do not want later. 2nd) This is my last contribution to the community. This is an updated release of 3.5 to fix the ...
danielk, Creative Labs Management would be TOTAL IDIOTS to NOT immediately hire you as a consultant. I have been using Creative Labs products for over 15 yrs, and I have to say, you are a true jewel to them. If it were not for you, I'd TOTALLY avoid them like Iomega stuff... THANKS *MUCH* for your total dedication and loyalty to Creative Labs *CUSTOMERS*. BTW, I have ...
Daniel thanks a lot for all work that you doing! from Russia with love) Can someboy please apload this pack on another service? Rapidshare always busy and dont have free slots for downloading....

Win7 and Audigy1 Absolutely the same...

I do not know daniiel_k, nor had I ever even heard of him before his driver package releases that were distributed here, ON THE CL FORMUS, which, I have administered and installed forums for over a dozen years, and I hereby declare, unconditionally. that unless CL admits their faults (which management parasites RARELY IF EVER do), I will never, EVER, AGAIN, touch ANYTHING with with a CL branding on it unless CL offers daniel_k a position as a...

", ON THE CL FORMUS, which, I have administered and installed forums for over a dozen years" If this is true then you know, blaster, that typing in all caps is RUDE, and insulting admins of forums never gets anyone anywhere. This is a user to user forum, and I believe that it is stated as such on the front page of all the forums. We do not control who Creative hires, just as they have no say in who your organization hires....
Thanks for the patch but I still seem to be unable to fix the 'low volume' bug. I run Win7 RTM x64 with 6gb of Ram and an i7 920. I have a SB Audigy 2 Value EC00... Initially I was only able to ever get sound out of my 2 front speakers, and really low. I had to put up the volume near max on a high-powered amplifier... Power was pumping higher than ever and I could even hear a slight static because the volume was up so...
