Let me clarify two things:   1st) Do NOT install the driver manually (from Device Manager) or by running \Drivers\Setup.exe, otherwise you'll trigger the infamous low volume bug.   To avoid issues, simply run the main installer.   You can uninstall the apps you do not want later.   2nd) This is my last contribution to the community.   This is an updated release of 3.5 to fix the static issues.         Best wishes to everyone.  ...

Downloaded OK (rapidshare free user), although a bit slow. Used the setup in \Drivers folder to uninstall previous drivers. After restart, new drivers installed smoothly (I already had all the apps same versions, so refused those; could not refuse DTS and DDL, but uninstalled those later as I have no use for them).   Good sound. XP pro SP3.

", ON THE CL FORMUS, which, I have administered and installed forums for over a dozen years"   If this is true then you know, blaster, that typing in all caps is RUDE, and insulting admins of forums never gets anyone anywhere.   This is a user to user forum, and I believe that it is stated as such on the front page of all the forums.   We do not control who Creative hires, just as they have no say in who your organization hires....

Thanks for the patch but I still seem to be unable to fix the 'low volume' bug.    I run Win7 RTM x64 with 6gb of Ram and an i7 920.  I have a SB Audigy 2 Value EC00...   Initially I was only able to ever get sound out of my 2 front speakers, and really low.  I had to put up the volume near max on a high-powered amplifier... Power was pumping higher than ever and I could even hear a slight static because the volume was up so...
