SAN PEDRO IN DECEMBER I'm heading to San Pedro in December (12th-23rd approx). I was there ten years ago in May and hunted down accommodation when I arrived. I'd like to do the same again. Is it very busy at this time of year? Can I be confident of finding somewhere ...

shouldn't be a problem, as long as you are there before the holidays. you will find it has changed a lot in 10 years.

I agree that at least for the early part of your trip you should have no problem finding accommodations. Closer to Christmas, things will tighten up, but by then you will have your digs. I agree, too, that things have really changed in the past 10 years. --Lan Sluder

You should be OK!since most hotels with the Financial crisis arent full these days..I would say though that if you have very specific need or want a certain kind of room and aint flexible then maybe you should consider booking ahead atleast first night or two. Good Luck!

SAN PEDRO IN DECEMBER I'm heading to San Pedro in December (12th-23rd approx). I was there ten years ago in May and hunted down accommodation when I arrived. I'd like to do the same again. Is it very busy at this time of year? Can I be confident of finding somewhere to stay. This time around I'm travelling with a seven year old so I can't be too irresponsible. I'm also wondering about Cancun. Thanks
