This is the worse cattle-run airlines we have ever been on. To begin with E-Dream with whom we booked this airline, never told us that we would have bo be bused out of Paris to Beauvais which is over an hour's drive from Paris at the cost of 13 euros per person and only at specific times of the day.
Next, on our flight to Barcelona , we were not told (we are from Canada ...
You do of course realise that the two main aiports in Paris - CDG and Orly are both way out of the city and are at least a 45min train ride with the cost pp about the same as your bus trip.
Re your other complaints - most people who have been anywhere near TA in the past 5 years will have known all about them in advance.
We took two Ryan Air flights in Europe ...
marieta13..
Assume you booked these flight through a 3rd party, E-Dream, they should of warned you you would not be flying to major airports, and you would have to pay to get transport at an additional cost.
However, also assuming you got these flights cheaply so would of known your flying a LLC, if not sorry you should of checked for yourselves where your were ...
I can only echo previous posters thoughts. I dont understand what your gripe is with Ryanair? that they fly to airports mile outside major cities? Well thats where they fly to.
They are a low cost airline and so will feel like a bus with wings but thats how they keep the prices down. Flying from Paris to Barcelona would only have been an hour flight.
Your travel ...
I agree, your beef is not with Ryanair, but with the people who sold you the ticket for not making the location clear.
However, for the "makes no difference where the airport is, you still have to get to it" crowd, it's worth pointing out that both Orly and CDG are accessible on public transit in less time for a fraction of the cost of the Ryanair bus to Beauvais, and with ...
Ok, you booked through an agent, but did you not read your itinerary before leaving Canada?
The first thing I do when I've booked (never through an agent) anything, is to read the paperwork.
I agree with other posters, that I'm afraid this is down to yourself, you cannot blame the airline for your failure to read your itinerary.
I'm surprised they let you on the flight as Ryanair have a strict policy of not dealing with third party bookers. Could be they have relented on this but I doubt it. Last year they were cancelling bookings made on other websites.
Anyway I checked your posting history and you have been on this forum before. Hardly a week goes by without someone mentioning Ryanair and theri policies....
> I'm surprised they let you on the flight as Ryanair have a strict policy of not dealing with third party bookers.
It's online screenscrapers that they won't accept bookings from. There is nothing to stop anyone (agent or private individual) from booking a Ryanair flight on someone else's behalf. The agent can charge a small fee for this, or recoup some costs by putting ...
<<<Anyway my original point was whichever airport you fly from to or from Paris you will have a longish trip into the city and its going to cost you a few Euros. To my mind there is just not that much difference between 13 Euros and 10 in the scheme of an overseas holiday. >>>> Thank you. Exactly what I was tryingto say Mfuwe - but got hijacked by arguments over 15 or 30 mins here or there.
Even though I love Ryanair ( sorry !! ) I would never fly with them to Paris Beauvais.. even if the fare was only 1p .... too far out and in total 26 euros for return trip by bus, and maybe a taxi from Port Maillot into town (another 10 euro each way) Would rather pay the extra and fly into CDG or Orly for easy connections. This is obviously where one uses their own preferences.

I tried the e-dream web site booking Paris to Barcelona and it clearly showed that the flights were from Beauvais to Girona. So the OP has no reason to complain about anything, except their own inability to read and research.
