You could buy a 22 conversion for your ar15 upper for about $189 plus $20-30 for the mags. CDNN has CMMG ones right now for that price. Or you could buy a 10/22 for about the same price, much lower if you bought used and $10-20 for hi cap mags. Perhaps a pistol grip stock might cost you another $70-100. I think you could build up a 10/22 "ar" to be more accurate then a ar 15 conversion. But i think for training purposes the ar 15 conversion would be a better idea overall.. meaning the bump in accuracy isnt going to be that big of a deal... __________________ Promotional Products - Custom Screen Printing

I own a Ruger 10/22 and as everybody has said, in past threads you will probably stick a lot of money in it to customize it. I am not saying that it’s a bad thing because I did that to my 10/22 as well. Know matter what you do to it, it will always be a Ruger 10/22. I love mine but it will never be an AR 15 in .22LR. If you want a rifle in .22LR for cheaper practice ...

I own a Ruger 10/22 and as everybody has said, in past threads you will probably stick a lot of money in it to customize it. I am not saying that it’s a bad thing because I did that to my 10/22 as well. Know matter what you do to it, it will always be a Ruger 10/22. I love mine but it will never be an AR 15 in .22LR. If you want a rifle in .22LR for cheaper practice instead using your AR, then consider buying an S&W M&P...
