Thread: Roof Problem On A Mk3

Hi people i had a new roof cover fitted on my mk3 and bloke did a good job only problem i found was after looking at rear quater windows it is not fitting tightly to them ie is a gap is bigger on o/s to n/s so im woundering if thier is any ajustment in frame or is it in the way the cover was fitted cheers mark.

Thanks for the reply KRYSS i dont supose you would know if the frame is adjustable to try and get rid of the gap or maybe the quater windows as having the skin recently fitted dont think her indoors would let me get another roof lol yet.

hi i managed to make the gap on mine go smaller by relaxing the bolts off then pushing the roof forward abit and tightening the bolts back up but had to losen the roof cable aswell ... mines not perfect but its a lot better than it was to start off with dont know if it will work on your roof but its got to be worth a try mate kryss...
