Thread: Rock rails or nerf sid steps

hey I just got a 3 inch lift and bigger tires on the fj, but im concerned that anyone shorter than me wont be able to get into it without help.. So should i go with black rock rails or chrome nerf side steps?

Go with a slider that functions as both. Most of the aftermarket sliders (NOT THE TRD) double as a step. I prefer the BudBuilt version with the Kickout in the rear. He also makes non flared versions. Bud is awesome.

Like Toledo said, if you plan on going offroad with the vehicle go with a slider that acts as a step. A nerfbars can do damage to your rig if you land or rub up against any rocks. Budbuilts are a great suggestion imo.

ok i looked at the budbuilt sliders and the domello sliders. I dont really like how the budbuilt's flare out at the back and i think ima go for the domello sliders but the lighter tube version because im not an everyday offrader we just have lots of big mud holes that i plan on tearing up soon..

ok i looked at the budbuilt sliders and the domello sliders. I dont really like how the budbuilt's flare out at the back and i think ima go for the domello sliders but the lighter tube version because im not an everyday offrader we just have lots of big mud holes that i plan on tearing up soon..

I have the standard tube sliders from Demello. I have had the sliders support the entire weight of my vehicle on more than one occasion. I highly recommend them! Here's a view of the sliders from above:
