how are they suppose to fit on there is no brackets or rear tubes on the inside ?

Hee hee! Them aint the ones that go along the sill - they go along the top of the tub.

looks like they bolt to existin sill which will be about as usefull as a choc teapot

how often do you need protection from a rock at tub level??? Yer better off with some tree slider bars there and some separate sill guards for the rocks...or just get a guardian one!
