Thread: Road trip: Amarillo down towards New Orleans....

Started 8 months, 3 weeks ago by janetofreno
Helping son and hubby plan a road trip for late May/early June...either hubby or son's girlfriend will be helping him drive to his new home in New Orleans....Their route takes them from Tucumcari, NM (where hubbies sister lives, so a stop is convenient.....plus he rarely gets to see her...)....to Amarillo and down through Dallas. Good road food suggestions for the long, hot trip are welcome!!

The road to Dallas from Amarillo has always ...

Not too far off I-49 in Shreveport is Superior Grill. Good Mexican and casual eats. Don't waste the time it takes to drive into Nachitoches -- drive the hour ...

The road to Dallas from Amarillo has always seemed a bore to me.
