Several friends of mine (now all retired from military) were in the Air National Guard tanker base at McGee-Tyson at Knoxville. I recall them talking of going to the BX there. It' s been several years so things may have changed.

There are several Reserve bases around the Tri-Cities. The one on West Stone Drive in Kingsport, right on the Hawkins County line, in Allendale area is listed as a "PX" however it is catalog items and orders.

No bases here, no PX, no Commissary, etc. The good news is there are a plethora of places that will take Tricare (not everywhere is so lucky).
Good luck on your retirement, I'm assuming you are retiring from the Service, I retired 3 years ago.
