I have a 81'? 120 OMC I/o with a 400 series outdrive. I need a new block, and the outdrive lower/upper havee not been run in a few years. To my knowledge they were never rebuilt. Should I rebuild or put a Mercruiser in. I know there are transom hole issues but it seems I can get a Merc for the same price. Any thoughts ? Any one know of someone that did a conversion? Thanks ...
