Dennis Kucinich, John Dingell, John Conyers, Jr., Alan Grayson, Ron Paul, Al Franken, Barney Frank, etc.
I know Ron Paul is very different from the rest of these guys, but he definitely has integrity.
Voting should be the term limit
Should being the operative word. And I'd venture that most career politicians haven't done anything that folks in their districts totally dislikes since people are motivated more by outrage. All one has to do is keep things smooth.
Well, then, that's the fault of the people. A democracy can only work so well if the people stay informed. How would real term limits do us any good? The current corrupt official would just be replaced by another corrupt official.

Yep which is why putting safeguards in place is a Good Thing. We know we're fallible so we should embrace the facts and take meaningful action. We can always change it if it fails in some way.

Your story seems to be plagued with hypocrites. It seems that Palin (like Bush), went against typical conservative ideals which would go against the ideals of those who elected her. Dingell, on the other hand, supported the auto industry, farmers (large number of farms in MI, southeast included), and was against the Iraq war (Dearborn has a very large middle-eastern community). So I stand by my statement saying that Dingell did exactly what...
He's doing exactly what he should do in his job. A co-worker of mine, in spite of his total opposition to all taxation and spending, just loves Sarah Palin. When you point out to him that she grew debt, raised taxes, and presided over increased spending as both mayor and governor, including higher taxes on oil companies and lobbying in favor of public works projects she claimed to oppose, he says "But that's what she's...
