Reload Glitch
Great game. Got a Hunter up to lvl 25. But this glitch is really bugging me. Frequently when I try to pick up stuff, my weapon reloads instead. I'm on the PC version. My interact key binding is set to E. My reload key binding is set to X. I don't see any reason why my weapon should reload when I press E attempting to ...
Re: Reload Glitch
Its E.
If you dont have a full clip, and you press E without it doign anything, you reload.

Re: Reload Glitch
What do you mean "it's E". I thought I was pretty clear in the launch post. My reload key is set to X. Pressing E should NOT reload. For any reason.
Re: Reload Glitch
Ok,lets say you used the default config.
E is [Use]
R is [Reload].
If your weapon isnt at full capacity (need to reload) and you press E randomly, (aka on nothing) then you will reload instead.
Its so some people dont walk into fights having to reload then fight....

Dude.. stop exaggerating. It's annoying, plain and simple. It wrecks the rhythm of the gameplay. I'm keenly aware of when my weapon needs reloading. I don't want the game doing it on its own simply because I'm one bullet short in my clip. Especially when I'm in the middle of a firefight.

It's piss-poor design that adds yet more evidence that the PC version is a port. Button overloading is common on consoles, because THEY DON'T HAVE KEYBOARDS. Here's a free tip for you folks at Gearbox: on the PC, our controller has 102 buttons. It's OK for a PC game to have one button for each function, I promise.

I can see how it would get annoying. All I know is it's saved my ass a few times. Running around looting stuff, It reloads, annoys me at the time. But then a BA come up behind me. Happened a few time. But I do see how it could annoy you or anyone else for that matter. But trust me, the more you play the game, the more you wont even notice it.
