My wife just brought this to my attention. If she is watching Live TV through one of our MVPs and pauses or rewinds (skips back), the MVP will not exit out of Live TV mode after the current show ends and the next show begins. She has to cycle power on the MVP (with the remote).
It's not a big issue, I just thought I'd see if there was a fix or any ideas.
Thanks,
-Brad

EWA is (I think) just the most up to dat version of it.
When I was using the old installer method for linking GBPVR and my PCH A-110, there were a limited number of things I could do with the PCH remote. I often wished the PCH remote would mimic most of the functionality that the Huappauge remote had directly with my computer.
When I had to reinstall the connection to GBPVR after installing a hard drive in my PCH, the semiautomated install program ...
Honestly I have no idea of what you are asking for in about in your post. I went through a lot of work to to give GBPVR users the GBPVR interface on the PCH. This includes time seeking with the previous and next keys which maybe you don't use, but many people like them. I've seen GBPVR make posts on the NMT forum asking for that interface
You can always go back to the obsolete version of ...
When I boot my PCH to GBPVR, the main menu is huge and overscans the tv. I'm using a 36" tv (not HD....yet!) and all recordings and live tv play just fine. It's just the menu that is oversize.
I've changed from Mayhem to CS with no change. I've set the PCH TV size to 4:3 but no settings make any difference with the menu, just the playback size.
What am I missing? I'm sure it's obvious and I ...

That was fast!
Yes, I used the NMTINstall and set the screen to 720. Should I try 480 instead? As I said, all videos and live tv play perfectly like they should, it's just the menu that...
The most recent version. And, it was entered in upper case.
Does that really make a difference?
No worries, I can get by as it is. I'll tinker around a bit more when I have some time and see what I may have overlooked.
You could easily get 2 1/2 hour HD movies that take more than 9GB, in fact a high bitrate SD file of that duration could probably fill an 8GB DVD-9 disk. Martin

What happened to everyone? You were all a chatty bunch while waiting for your refer'bs to arrive & now you all have gone quite for ages By this lack of messages I assume you all received your orders & have them all set up & running without a problem??
The Filemode button did the trick, thanks. That and a clue in your post - that I had left 2 characters off the MAC.. got me going.. in all modes. Now all running OK. Looking great. many thanks. Rory
Martin, Thanks again for your support of this initiative. What do you mean by "page libraries and EPG"? The chairs are more comfortable and the screen much larger in the living room.
Thks - that was it. Has no idea how I managed to erase this folder - however I always backup existing/working gbpvr setup files before making changes so was able to compare and restore :-)
