Thread: Reebok EasyTone

Started 4 months, 1 week ago by amazondotmom
I emailed Reebok this question but haven't received a response yet. Does anyone wear these as cross training shoes or are they just meant for walking? Here is the link: http://www.reebok.com/US/#/product?m...ticleId=J03 946

These shoes didn't work for me at all and I sent them back. The "mini bosu" hurt the balls of my feet, especially during long walks. Too bad because I really wanted to like them since I like the looks. I never got around to using them for other than fitness walking.

I have a pair and I wear them for walking, also wear them to work, I like them a lot. They do need to be worn as suggested where you start with an hour or two and increase to tolerance. I got DD a pair as well, we were at a store that had buy 1 get 1 at 1/2 off so we did it. She likes hers too.

I love mine. They feel great while I'm walking. However, once I did a Leslie workout with them on and my feet were killing me after doing her side steps. I think they are made just for walking foward. Unfortunately summer is here, and I wear sandals often when I go out so I can't say they have made my legs tighter as I don't wear them out doing errands. Diane

I started a thread on these a while back in the Shoes, Equipment, Gear forum. Several VFers have them and commented on that thread. I haven't used mine much, but I do like them. However, I'd never use them for anything but walking.

Those commercials drive me insane. I refuse to buy the shoes just because of the way they are marketing them.

Reebok Easy Tone I purchased these and had to send them back. The shoes are really narrow and caused my achilles tendons a lot of pain. I only wore them one day but that was all it took for me to know they were not for me. I really wanted to like them b/c they were sort of an alternative to the bulky looking MBTs.

WOW! I've seen the first commercial (and rolled my eyes a-plenty during) but those last 2 are.....insulting. Who are they selling shoes to? Me or 14 year old boys!!! BTW, I was (key word) looking into these, but I don't know now.....I'd be a little embarrassed to buy them, lest someone think that that's what I'm going for! __________________ Alison Constant vigilance!

I hated mine-they hurt my feet so much that I sent them back within a week. Now I'm glad I did given that insulting advertising. I'll stick to my MBTs. __________________ Susie

I haven't seen the commercials but I ordered them yesterday from Zappos. I couldn't find them in a retail store by me and I really wanted to try them on before I bought them so I hope they work out. I really liked the looks of them more so than the skeetchers
