Symptoms have nothing to do with HIV. Oral sex is not a risk for HIV. As for the sex can't really say because you said you saw it torn in half, but the woman said it was not. If it was then test at 3 months. If it was not then no risk.

Generally when do we start having symptoms after exposure as i started having from 4th day onwards until like 10 days and they are still persisting. I know symptoms shouldn't be looked up,but was just curious abt timeline. Thanks

2-4 weeks after...so your symptoms are not related. And if you get "symptoms" in that 2-4 week period please do not worry they are probably just anxiety driven.

Hi Vance, Thanks for the support and as you said i stopped looking at symptoms,but cough has started to increase and also sometimes some pain in chest due to that so i took nyquil yesterday and the cough seems to have decreased a lot.I was also curious as i am talking abt all this symptoms and so if i take a home-access test after 4 weeks of exposure,If these symptoms were ...

Where did you read on a HOME ACCESS TEST that four weeks was conclusive. READ THE PAPER WORK that comes with the test.

Hi teak I am sorry that I wasn't clear I meant to say that if I check at 4 weeks will it let me know if something is there and I will definetely get checked again at 6 weeks and 13 weeks . The 4 weeks test is just for my little peace of mind

I just took the 3rd week and 29th day home access home test and both came out negative ,so is it atleast good and i am again planning to take it at 6th week again. I started having ankle pain consistenly for last 4-5 days and also some discomfort under my left armpit don't know if it is lymph nodes. Thanks

3 months is conclusive, anything before that will not give you a conclusive result. 8 weeks is a very good indication but 3 months must be done for the conclusive result.
