Thread: Real Name or Nick Name?

Started 2 months, 3 weeks ago by Mailman
In a setting where you are face to face, industry related or not do you prefer to be called by your nickname or real name? I was just thinking about this and when I'm face to face with ABulletAway he calls me Mailman and I call him Bullet but when I'm with MP we call each other our proper names Mark and Kevin. I prefer my real name, don't mind my friends calling me natkejs but when talking business I like to keep it more formal. I always respond to emails etc with my full name, just include the nickname for the sake of recognition.

I'm very comfortable with Footman. Certainly for the porn biz it makes more sense to use it as often as possible. Branding is important. I've been know as Footman for a very long time now so it's all good. natkejs - I have no idea how to pronounce that anyway. Seems like a combination that's hard to pronounce.

I prefer real first name basis with everyone.
