I have a RAZAR V3m . I have been sucessfully downloading to my computer data, pix etc until today. No matter what I do my computer wont recognize the phone. I have downloaded the latest drivers, changed UBS cords, changed UBS ports yet it wont recognize it? Suggestions?
When I bluetoothed my ringtones from my v3m to my new ve20 they were sent to a sounds file. The ve20 does not give me any options to assign anything in the sounds file as a ringtone! Any suggestions?
I have a phone number in my VE20's phonebook with something in it that is causing me problems. I can't delete it the typical way , because if I stop on this number it freezes up for a few seconds then shuts the phone off. Anyone have any ideas?
Is it possible to sync with Outlook? Can it be done with other software than Motorola,s? E.g. Sync cell? Does it matter what USB cable is used? I've downloaded MOT drivers, but unable to have PC recognize the phone.
I have a VE 20, comming out of an original razr. I have several issues I hope I can find some answers to. I am unable to get any bluetoothed sound files into my ringtone folder. I liked my old razr in that any mp3 file could be used as a ringtone. I have eclectic friends, they need eclectic ringtones! I am unable to find any menu selection that allows transfer of any files to my ...
I recently received a new MotoRazr V3a for renewing my contract. It is the same exact model as I had before, different color. With the last one, I was able to upload a .mp3 file thru my bluetooth connection (with the send file option in the bluetooth panel) between my iMac and the phone, and the ringtone worked fine. With this new phone, I can upload the file but cant "apply as ringtone" to ...
I have a similair problem as well. I took some ring tones that I used for my last phone, dropped them into the ringtone folder via bluetooth, found them in the sounds folder in the multimedia gallery, was able to play them without any difficulty, cannot seem to apply them dispite various attempts of poking around....
I just bought a new Razr V3 phone and I have had to charge the battery 3 times. Holds a charge for a couple of days. Call timer lists 5.5 hours used on phone. Battery is BR50, SNN 5696E 2008 10 22. The Motorola website states that the standby time is approx. 180-290 hrs and usage time is approx. 200-430 minutes. Did I make a bad decision purchasing this phone? Please help!
pacojr67 is correct. If you had the software installed on a computer and updated it from 3.0 up through 4.21 in the last year you should be able to update it to 4.56+ in order to be compatible with Outlook 2007. If, however the CD is installed on a new computer the updates from 3.0 to 4.21 are no longer available. You'll need to purchase Motorola Phone Tools 5.0+ to get connectivity. How are you judging picture quality? Are you looking at the images on the phone or are you emailing/downloading them and viewing them on a PC? Max resolution of 1280 x 1024 will give you your 2MP image, or a decent 4" x 6" image. A bigger picture is gained, but maybe not better picture quality due to optics. If you are only viewing on the phone screens, that could be your issue.
It may be a feature your mobile service provider has taken off the phone (if it was purchased through them).? Get an unlocked V3i its way better, has a cool itunes application, better screen with more colors, quicker user interface.? Overall way better with similar proportions and Can move files back and forth via bluetooth no usb required. You can always use the original Razr as a pre-paid phone and use it as a back up.?
Hi Mark! I have received the cable. I plugged it in. Everything worked fine. So, one of the initial recommendations was correct. I appreciate all who offered support and especially to Mark who really bird dogged the problem through to the end. Much obliged, Mark! Cheers.
After two years I don't remember, but I doubt the mini USB is a Motorola cable. It does work to charge the phone when connected to a computer with the correct driver software. I use it to sync Outlook contacts and calendar and while it's doing that it charges the phone.
Thanks, I contacted the company that services the phones instead of CompUSA and explained the problem and was instructed to return the phone and they replaced it free of charge. Message was edited by: michaehi
I have downloaded ringtones from several sources and the phone has saved many to the "sounds" folder and not "ringtone." The only way around this problem that I have found is to "resend" these files to myself. The incoming sound file has a slightly different name and goes right into "ringtone" folder. I actually had to re-boot for my music to be seen. Even, though I used bluetooth and followed procedure - it wouldn't work.? Then after a re-boot it works! Thank you so much!!! Now, can you fix the problem of the alarm going off everyday at 6:30am - when turned off and plugged in to charging cord??? Then I would be totally satisfied. Thanks!
