rant >verb speak or shout at length in a wild, impassioned way. >noun a spell of ranting.
-DERIVATIVES ranter >noun.
-ORIGIN Dutch ranten 'talk nonsense, rave' .
The idea of a rant is to speak one's mind on the topics that are in the threads or perhaps to suggest new intelligent topics. However some always say the
same thing no matter what the topic is. That is what freedom is all ...
I see next year as the great anti-incumbent election. The theme will be
THROW THE RASCALS OUT
Of course the Unions (not just ours) will continue to throw money as the scumbags in the hope of getting things that we will never get.
"I sincerely hope when these boneheads come around begging us for an endorsement, we throw this back in their faces with a resounding
NO!!!"
Do you REALLY think we are that important, and a viable cog in the voting system...............ROTFLMFAO
Yeah, I see the masses lining up to follow our endorsees, an vote for them..
OOH, The Court Officers are backing them,,,,let's vote ...
Our Gov. and Legislators told us that the State is broke, so they raised the State budget 10% and raised every tax, fee and surcharge that is possible. The
Gov. wanted us to give up our raises and he gave raises to his closet friends on his staff. If you check out the State Senate web-page one would see under
"Charters" (New Law), that about 40% of the bills signed are increases in taxes. This ...
So, term limiits (which I agree with) replaces one set of thieves and incompetents with another. Once in a great while we might get lucky. What I'd really
like to to see is a moratorium on union endorsements.
In fairness, I guess it should be pointed out that the Assembly & Senate both passed our police bill, our heart bill, and our binding arbitration bill.
That's all they can do! The multiple stabs in the back came from the Accidental Governor, who is toast!
True they did pass them, but it most were killed by the Governor, either
Pataki or Patterson. Would the Legislature have the stones to override a
veto for us?

The problem isn't union endorsements. The problem is that these hacks are so dishonorable that they won't even stay bought!
AMEN brother. It is easy to pander to the unions by passing bills you know the Governor is going to Veto. So everyone gets their endorsements and payoffs and
looks like our friends, while it costs the State nothing since it never counts. ...

Glad to see CSEA is right on top of things, considering the real court officer unions disseminated a memo last week. You guys upstate really gotta get out of CSEA.
exNYPDDispatcher....No argument there. NYPD has a list of verboten establishments....but that rule supposedly covers all ranks and there is reason behind the list. What she is doing is just nonsence, as usual. Be a nice lawsuit if anyone got jammed up over a drink at a Christmas Party off premises, after hours with no DWI involved.
Why, is free speech not allowed here? I rased valid points, tho youse don't agrees wit dem. Cause ise dont think da job is dat dangeres, working inside. c;mon, now. it is an opinyon, wes all gots em. stops trying to make youself so impotent..or sonds so impotent. ooh wes has a dangeres job, wes be da police... stop. wes not da police, and wont be da police. wes cant even be called police. even health and hospital calls themselves police,...

They are not asking for anything extrodinary. The paper work is a nightmare for the commands only since the uploads suck and are not user friendly until I.T. twinked them for the commands. Damn, not like they are asking for info that ANY other LE agency does. You carry by the priviledge of being a Peace Officer. Until Dept. of Public Safety (which I am not part of) was created, there only exist command records and State Police...
