I'm just trying somethings out. I have a rough idea I want to do for a blog, but I'm not sure if I have the energy. This thread will operate as a catch all for thoughts on different TV shows. If you watch TV shows feel free to converse here.
Of all the summer series I watch my favorite has to be Burn Notice.
Burn Notice does a great job of being friendly to new viewers, while at the same time rewarding long time viewers with an overarching storyline that helps tie everything together. Burn Notice is centered around Michael Weston a former super spy who now has been burned (basically he's not longer a spy, lost his money, ...
Favorite summer series for me is Rescue Me. Its like a gritty soap opera, witty banter, crazy sexual innuendo and of course wacky characters, but in all the insanity is a very well thought out ode to fire fighters, a group that really doesn't get enough respect for what they do.
I've come to the conlusion that Dark Blue is probably the worst new series (that I've watched this year). It's not just bad, it's so bad that I can't help but watch it and get mad.
Burn Notice has always been entertaining, and it's one of the best action-comedies out there. Dark Blue looks terrible, and I'm applying the same logic to it as I did Leverage: cable cop shows are stupid and a waste of time.

Man, I could write a dissertation on why Dark Blue is bad.
The woman was undercover and yet gave a guy she made as a connect the address to her home. lol ...
I am a sucker for USA's summer programming. Psych, Monk, Burn Notice, Royal Pains. Psych is my favorite though. Another guilty pleasure is True Blood. There's some corny stuff here and there, but I keep getting hooked when they keep introducing more wild creatures.
I've given up on Weeds. I enjoyed the first few seasons a lot, but this season hasn't been holding my interest. I am close to ...
Yeah, USA is my favorite by far right now.
Oh, and Dexter is incredible. I'm just getting around to watching season 3 right now, but this is an amazing show. If you have cable you can watch all three seasons on demand until the season starts in the fall. Only thing I don't like about it is Dexter's sister Deb.
Do you know if Season 1 is streaming on Netflix? I keep hearing good things but never remember to get the DVDs. The same thing with The Wire which isn't on demand
Re: Random TV Comments Dexter is so good it's almost unfair. I finally started watching the most recent season and blitzed through 8 episodes like it was nothing. __________________ Racist against rappers they all look the same to him.
Yeah, but see thats different, if an actor voluntarily signs up for the shows, thats different from saying the shows intentionally seek actors. I know corny *** shows on MTV and VH1 would do that, but credible shows like Amazing Race and Survivor, I beg to differ.

I might have to start hyping up Better Off Ted. ABC aired the...

You guys need to go back and watch season one of Cali. This new season is hit and miss but the original was great throughout. Although I'm enjoying the females in this season, Jackie is one stripper I wouldn't mind doing a Runkle all over.
