He is a United legend, I'd be gutted if he went there, he can still score goals like no-one else given the right circumstances. It's funny as United now would suit him a lot more post-Ronaldo than his last few seasons with us; he was unstoppable from 2001-2003, Ronaldo's introduction effectively frustrated the fuck out of him as Ronaldo vied for top billing in the side over Ruud and duly won, but...

Having been a little too young to see Dennis Law in his pomp, but seen all the United Strikers since the early 70's , RvN is by far and away in a class of his own in my opinion. What a goal scorer, and he worked his socks off for us, a lot of the time being the lone spearhead of a 4-5-1. to me Ruud IS a legend here...... as for him going to Liverpool, whilst I would'nt be cheering ...

I don't consider him a legend, but then I was never a big fan of his. Wouldn't care if he went to the scousers.

If he does go there and they keep losing we can always ask "why the long face"? Or would that be a tad disrespectful?

I can't see it happening. He has in the past proffessed still having love for our club and the city of Manchester saying he visits once a year etc. Who'd reject Arsenal for Liverpool anyway ? I know where as a striker I'd rather be plying my trade anyway. Daily Mirror - bollocks rag.
