Thread: RUF launches latest Porsche

RUF are one of the very few tasteful Porsche tuners left.  The RT12S is no exception, looking little different externally from a standard car. It gives you the confidence that the money you are paying has gone in to the engine and suspension upgrades rather than a pointless body kit. If only I could scrape together the money....

Why do they call it 997 when it looks like a 911?

Wonderful! Very tastefully done. I might be alone in saying that I do not quite like the body kit, but I trust it's there to fulfill a purpose, so it's not all bad. I'd quite like to have all the mechanically uprated bits in a standard Turbo's clothes, then it'll be perfect.
