OMG...that made my stomache do flip flops! My heart goes out to the boy's family.

I found out today that one of my parent's employees was on the bus that hit the kid. He said that everyone on the bus saw the kid and were screaming at the bus driver, but she continued to cross the bike lane into the bus stop pullout. Apparently her statement was that she saw him, but thought she had already passed him when she started turning. My parent's employee was the first person off the ...

I was withholding commenting until the facts came out but I just had a real strong feeling that the bus driver was at fault, looks like I was right. At least the poor kid didn't suffer.

I've been through three extremely close calls with death and trust me, you don't really have time to get scared. I bet by the time he even realized something was happening it was only a matter of a few short seconds before he was killed.
