Were those numbers with the APR tune in stock mode? or 93 Tune? If in stock tune did you get a pull with the 93 tune as well?

dieatomic replied 1 month, 2 weeks ago
these were in 93 tune. we didnt do stock or a 0-60 run because the cars abs system started acting up. i guess it didnt like to be on the dyno.

The reason I was asking is in the APR v GIAC thread APR posted these numbers with regard to the 93 tune awhp: - Peak Levels Stock on APR's dyno w/ 93 in the tank: 191whp (4750 RPM) and 242lb-ft (2000 RPM) - Peak Levels for the APR 93 Octane Program on APR's dyno w/ 93 in the tank: 211whp (5000 RPM) and 300lb-ft (2250 RPM) which is +20whp and +59lb-ft So I was wondering why ...

Cool...Stage 2, nice. You have to let everyone know how you like it. I dont think there are a lot of people who have the stage 2 at this point but then again I could be wrong. Looking forward to the update.

So the "remaining exhaust" = basically an axle back system?

That makes sense then if APR has a dynojet, which begs the million dollar question. Which is more accurate, i know there are a bunch of variable with regard to the differences between the two dyno's. Just interesting to see such a difference between the two, not just in this case but with all cars dyno'd on both machines.

Ya I know that the HFC and testpipe go in the same place, my focus is mainly on where the downpipe is.

i am upset i didn't get the stage 2 yet, i feel like it needs a little re tuning cause the car feels reallllly tourqyy but still only stage 1 and NO CEL since i got it put on and have put on around 450 miles since the install. They did 0-60 on m car and have apr stage 1 ecu 93, a.w.e dual exhaust, and test pipe i got 6.26 but idk i feel like its much much faster and i have beat cars off the line who have 0-60mph times of 5.5-6.0 easy....

i worked on both, i worked on the dyno jet for years when i worked at another shop, now i use our mustang. the dyno jet reads high. We used to make the same whp that manufacturers claimed to be crank. it seems with the dyno jet the heavier cars would be read accurately, or the cars that matched the rollers weight. the mustang it dosent matter the weight.

turbo =HFC== :==midpipe======:==remaining stock exhaust==== That's where the AE Performance HFC and combined down-pipe would fit in the puzzle. Most exhausts are cat-back, meaning they would start immediately downstream of the down-pipe.
