Thread: R5 panaroma - La Roche en Ardenne

Started 3 years, 1 month ago by ArnaudK
Hi, Here is a panaroma of a small town in Belgium where I spent last weekend. First time I tried Autostitch, it really works well! Comments are welcome. Arnaud.

Nice pano! Especially the way you shot the water... Great place for a pano (I live in Belgium.) Where are you from? -- Greetz Allejandro ---------------------- Ricoh R4 Probably the best (P&S) camera in the world!

Hi Allejandro, Thanks for the compliment. I was having a coffee at that location (so the pictures were taken from my seat:) and it seemed like a nice place for a pano (it consists of 3 28mm pics). I'm from the city of Utrecht in the Netherlands. In Utrecht we also have nice canals that should lend themselves for pano shots. Cheers, Arnaud.

Was there as much curve on the wall as the panoramic picture shows? The more pictures you put into the pano the less curvature will be seen

Cool pano, Arnaud - and it seems you've got even exposure, too! Thanks for sharing! Best regards, Asbjørn http://www.bytephoto.com/... .../showgallery.php?ppuser=8797&perpage=24

Not really. The curvature at the far right is present. But at front it is straight as is shown below in the foto's that made up this panorama (finally got the spelling right:) All pictures in ISO 64, exposure between 1/290 and 1/153. Except for a fixed iso all settings are auto, no EV corrections and no PP. Arnaud.
